The No1 Real Money Blackjack Site Online!

How to Play Blackjack on Your Tablet

Unlike playing blackjack on your iPhone which limits your ability to download games and make changes to your real money deposit account, playing on a Tablet, whether an iPad or Android-based device like the Google Nexus or Samsung Galaxy allows instant changes. The ease of download and play is better on a Tablet than a phone, and virtually every device is going to provide a larger screen with the ability to actually drag your choice (or wagers) into the game and play your chips smoothly in HD.

For iPhone and iPad players, the online casinos that offer play on one device will almost always offer play on the other – with the same login and account, so you can play either device if you are lucky enough to own both. Android players will find that while their phone may have limited games, their selection is likely to be much greater on Tablets (and PC’s of course).

Internet casinos offer several types of downloads, from a small interface for accessing games and individual downloads for each game to full-downloads that allow instant play on games like blackjack, roulette and slots.  The small-download Flash play allows gaming on one-game at a time with no large download and that’s what is offered on phones. Tablets can usually play either style, so more complicated games like craps are available. Tablets are also excellent for online poker.

Please note that both the Apple App Store and games on Tablets originated with free play only. If you live in a location that does not allow internet gaming, your stop at the iTunes store will provide only free games. For those of you living in the UK, the iTunes store will provide plenty of Apps for both free and real-money games, but not necessarily both from a single website casino. Choose your online casino carefully.

You’ll want a casino that offers the exact games you are looking for. The download to your device may be small, but there’s no sense having dozens of games loaded as they do take up space on your device. You can setup your account on a standard PC, or try one that you already have an account with, but just because the site says they offer Mobile gaming doesn’t mean they have just what you want.

Software used in iPad’s and Android Tabs is different than that found in PC’s, so you’ll have to do some investigating. What you will find at this time is that most software technology is still geared towards Windows operating systems.

If you search specifically for iPad casinos you can find some that offer games through the web browser without having to download any software. If you have a Galaxy Tab that supports Flash, you can connect through Wi-Fi and play any site that offers their games in a Flash version.

The selection of game is likely to be limited, unfortunately. A site that had 300 PC games available may have only 30 or 40 Flash games. Online poker is great for Tablets, but unfortunately not that many sites offer a game that is compatible with iPad, but give them time and you’ll be able to play all the games on both Android and iPad tablets in the near future!

Setting Up an Account

Setting up your account on a Tablet isn’t really any different than getting going on a PC (personal laptop or desktop computer). You’ll find a casino you like, follow the steps, and bang – you’re gambling, with real money.

That of course makes it very important that you choose carefully. You can play traditional games like blackjack, you can play online poker, and you can play slots, like Mermaid Millions, Tomb Raider and Food Fight.

Choosing a Tablet Casino

There is a good selection of casinos that offer Tablet gaming including Betfred, William Hill and Mr. Green. Each has a nice selection of table games and slots in Flash Mode.

Bovada casino offers Tablet games for iPhone and iPad as well as Android Phones and Tablets. There are no additional fees and nothing to download; you just need to set up your account and deposit funds to play with via your credit card, debit card, or any number of e-Wallets like Neteller. If you already have a Bovada account, just sign in with your Account number or email and password. You can go to the website or use the QR code.

You’ll find that their selection of Tablet games is smaller than their PC list of over 150 games, but still there are plenty of games to play. The usual selection of slots is available, with games like Cleopatra’s Gold, but there are also progressive jackpot games like Mid Life Crisis.

You’ll be able to play games from most countries and there are no specific charges from Bovada, but as with all gaming and internet or Mobile use, make sure you check with your network provider to make sure there are no additional data charges or roaming fees.

Cashing out is also easy on a Tablet, just click on the Payout button at the top left of the main home page!

Blackjack at Bovada has fairly standard rules such as Dealer hits soft 17, player may split pairs (aces only once) and double down on any two cards. Players may also Surrender for half their original wager after viewing their first two cards.

Players may wager from $1 to $500 per hand and they go pretty fast. Remember you’ll get more hands on your Tablet than you’ll ever get per hour at a casino table. Budget your blackjack bankroll accordingly. If you are ever disconnected during a hand of play the software will store the information and return to the hand the next time you connect.
